Wow!!! So many baby showers!!!.. I know of 5 ladies in my circle of friends that have found out they are pregnant. I am sooooo happy for them. Whoohoo!!!
So today I want to share a DIAPER CAKE. This is my very first attempt at one.
I did find I needed many more hands than my own two, to secure the diapers LOL!!! Once that was done, I had an absolute ball decorating the cake :).
Hello there, it's Monday again! Today I'm sharing a page that was so much fun to create!
For this page I used two patterns At the Beach & Lemonade Stand.
The rocks & grass are from the At the Beach pattern & the trees are from t he Lemonade stand.
For my page I got out my watercolors & just started painting. I used watercolor paper to cut out all my pieces so that I could get the paper all wet & it wouldn't curl up too much. It did still curl but it's fine now that it's in a page protector.
This is my beautiful granddaughter. We took her to the park to spend some fun time with her the day before her baby sister was born. It was a gorgeous day! If you are ever in Southern Missouri & near this park it is worth a stop! It's so beautiful!
Thanks for stopping by our blog today! I hope you all have a Happy Scrappy Week!
was created using this week's freebie, Pot Belly Monkey, and
Pot Belly Tiger (which you can get on my website in the $1.00 deals category) I also used the tree form the Such a Stinker file.
We bought Josh these two stuffed animals for Christmas just before he turned one. At two years old he has grown more attached to his "friends" and tries to take them everywhere. He won't to go bed unless they are tucked in right next to him. I adore how he rubs his hands on the tags for comfort. They truly are his "best buds"
Hola a todas, Doris nuevamente.
Thank you for stopping by our blog! Today, I am sharing a little boy layout I've created, using elements from a few different patterns. I've used Out for a Ride, Storybook Series-Snow White, Sunflower Mice, and a retired file called Boys and their Toys. I love how all of the elements came together. ~ DT Barbara
Scrappy Thursday! Today I have a 2 page LO to share using the "I'm a Pawful" file. This is my little guy, Joey. He has Autism, and up until this day, he refused to wear costumes or dress up at all, ever. He wouldn't even dress up for Halloween. Nothing. On this day, his 2 sisters were playing dress up and parading around in their Princess dresses. Joey decided he wanted to play too. He tried ripping a dress off his sister at first, but was kindly redirected to this Dalmation costume, which he had refused to wear the previous Halloween. :)
When I saw this file, I knew it was perfect! And it is! And Joey is certainly a "Pawful" even when he's not wearing the costume! ;) Thanks for coming by today and be sure to come back tomorrow for Viernes en Espanol with Doris and Sandra. ~Colleen LSHD DT~
As you can see the file is a boy so I then used the file Bowling Fun to make the hair and the bow to make it a girl. You can find that file here: http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/item_822/Bowling-Fun.htm
I finished the layout with cardstock from Hobby Lobby and paper from Match'em up's fishing collection. This is what I came up with.
I hope you enjoy the layout and I appreciate you stopping by~!
Stay tune ...Next week we will be back with Same day different Way Wednesdays! I hope you will join us! Christi

Happy Tuesday! Today I am sharing a card that I seen on Pinterest. I thought it was just the cutest card so I had to make one too. I used the rabbit from Easter Bunny Express and the leaves from My Paper Garden 2 and the eggs are from Easter Tweets and the sign is from Grandma's house and the Grass Border. Hope you enjoy!
Thanks for stopping by!

Hello there, welcome to our blog. Today I'm sharing another page out of my art journal. For this page I used the Rainy Day Turtles pattern collection to create this page.

Since I have been trying my hand at photography I have been taking many, many pictures of Joshua. I'm sure by time he is five he will absolutely hate having his picture taken. I took this one the other day and thought he looked so adorable. He is so photogenic.
Hola, nuevamente yo - Doris.
Today, I've created a card using the 3D Butterfly. This is such a a pretty file and is a great addition to any paper crafting project. The bottom layer of the butterfly is cut from cardstock and embossed. The top layer I've cut from vellum and used Stickles for a glittery finish. Finally, I embellished the card with some Prima flowers and some bling.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget, we have a sketch challenge going on. So, be sure to stop by our Facebook page for more details. ~ DT Barbara
Hey all!! It's Thursday and I am back with a super special LO today! I made this LO for my son's future MIL. Yup, he's 7 and he has it all planned out! LOL He has had a crush on this girl since last year. We made a special trip to her house on Valentine's Day this year so he could deliver some prizes (bought with his own money and handmade by him!) Of course, I took pics!!
I used the "Oh So Loved" file for the main elements, then added a retired freebie "Interlocking Hearts", the big heart is from "Wanted For Stealing Hearts" and the tag is from "Tag 1" I also used some Rumple Ribbon.
I absolutely LOVE how my bears turned out, and the whole LO really! Of course, having such cute pics definitely helps! If you'd like to see more of my work, I'd love for you to stop by my fan page, CBC Scrapbooking. Be sure to stop back by tomorrow for Viernes en Espanol!! ~Colleen LSHD DT~
