{Another} "Frozen" Birthday card

{another} Frozen Birthday Card Hello!!  Thanks for stopping by today! Today I am sharing {another} Frozen b-day card. I say "another" because I feel like I have made about 20 of them in the past year lol So, for this one, I have used a few different files. I used " Ice Princess " for the main components, then I used the snowflakes from " Catching Snowflakes " and the banner for my sentiment is from " Elements Collection ". I take pride in knowing that even tho I have made so many of these type of birthday cards, they are all different in some way.   Little Scraps of Heaven Designs  files are so versatile and easy to mix and match, the possibilities are endless! ~Colleen LSHD DT~

Special Friend Card

Good morning!  Here we are on the last week of February already - hard to believe this month is nearly over!!  Hopefully March will bring warmer temps and an end to the snow =) Today I'm sharing a little card I made.  I used Little Scrap of Heaven Designs The Golden Egg file to create a card perfect for a special friend. I love the bunny and the flowers definitely remind me of spring!  I added a few brads to give the fence the look of nails and misaligned everything - not all fences are perfect! lol This is a wonderful set you can use for many different types of projects.  I know I can't wait to use the tulips again! Enjoy your week!! ~~Jennifer LSHD DT

Boys! Boys! Boys!

Today I want to share a little boy version of a paper bag album.  If you've never made one you are definitely should give them a try!  They are lots of fun to decorate and can hold a ton of stuff =) This album has little pockets on the insides between pages to add journal tags, photos, or keepsakes.  In addition, you can also fill up the bags with more tags, photos, or small trinkets. Here's the cover featuring A Boy with Slingshot .  The little frog is my favorite =) Every little boy loves planes.  I used the windows to create a couple photo mats. He's so cute with his boat =) Everyone loves monster trucks =) No childhood is complete without your Tonka truck.  I used the tonka tires for mats on the opposite page. What little boy doesn't dream of racing? I used the following files for this album: Boy With Slingshot Boys and Their Toys (Cut Files) Boys and Their Toys (Digi Kit)  for all the background papers Hope you h

Hi! Today my project is a vintage heart frame. For my frame I started with an 11 1/2 inch rigid foam heart. I traced this heart on vintage paper and cut it out by hand. I added a 5 x 7 oval photo mounted on an 8 x 10 piece of vellum curled up on the edges. I made the puzzle pieces from the "Puzzle Pals" file and sized the pieces at 1 1/2 inches high. I cut them out of thin chipboard and layered three for each piece. I made about 50 layered puzzle pieces. For the flowers and vines I used "My Paper Garden Collection Vol. 2", and sized them at about 4 inches. I added some pearl accents and the final touch was a burlap and lace bow.  May your luck be only good on this Friday the 13th, and Happy Valentines Day! Don't forget to join us for our Valentines Day Hop to get some great inspiration and a chance at some wonderful prizes!  ~ LSHD DT Shirley
