FALL SHAKER CARD

Happy Monday and today I have a fall shaker card to share with you.

I had to resize the stitched mat and remove the stitches.  I printed it once as a solid piece and then welded a square with my Cameo so it would cut out an opening.  Then I stamped my fall word art on white card stock and adhered it to the solid  mat, added my sequins and leaves and attached the pieces together with foam blocks.

I am so happy with how it turned out!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

My Hero Tear Bear Card

Stopping over today to share this super cute Super Hero Tear Bear. I made this using the My Hero Bears file found here http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/item_420/My-Hero-Bears.htm.

I uploaded the svg to Cricut Design Space and then cut all the pieces with my Cricut Explore. I then traced my bear parts into mulberry paper and hand tore them out of thick handcrafted mulberry paper. I then made the pieces extra fuzzy by brushing with brushes. I handchalked the edges of all the pieces and assembled.

Adventure Birthday Box Card

Hello Everyone! Today I want to share with you a Adventure Birthday Box Card that I made!

I used the adorable file On An Adventure that you can find here: http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/item_1392/On-an-Adventure.htm. To create my box card, first I made the card base out of basic shapes in Design Space, welded them together and then added score lines. Next I uploaded the pattern and sized it to fit perfectly on my box card. Next I cut out all of the pattern pieces in plain card stock and patterned paper. After that I Inked all of the paper edges and then used Artist Chalk to create more dimension and shape. I then assembled everything and then layered my scene starting with the back layer and then worked my way up towards the front. Lastly to finish I added all of the highlights with a white paint pen. Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day! LSHD DT Mindy

Thankful For You.....

Hello there... Today I am sharing my "Thankful For You" card that I created using the Hedgehog with Sunflower file which you can find here:
http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/item_989/Hedgehog-with-Sunflower.htm

This card measures 5x7. I used Bazzill and Recollections papers to make the base of this card along with the hedgehog and sunflower.  I cut this file using my Cricut Explore and chalked each piece before putting it all together.  I also wanted to add a little texture, so I embossed the sunflower using my Big Shot.

For my sentiment, I used a patterned paper from Lilybee Designs.  Using the Arial Font on my Cricut Explore, I was able to write out my sentiment, "Thankful For You". I then punched it out using a circle punch and added a small olive green button with twine.

Thank you for stopping by today!!

Fall Turtle Applique Onesie

Good Afternoon Everyone! Today I want to share with you a Fall Turtle Applique Onesie that I made.

I used this week's adorable Freebie pattern Pumpkin Turtle that you can find here: http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/category_22/Weekly-Freebie.htm
To make my applique first I cut the pattern out of card stock with my Explore. Next I traced the pattern onto felt. After that I cut out all or the felt pattern pieces and used a waterproof ink to ink all of the edges to create extra dimension. I then used embroidery floss and a blanket stitch to attach each felt piece to the onesie. I started with the back layers first and then worked my way to the very front layer. Next I beaded and sequined the pumpkin leaves, and then sewed on two little bows. To finish I used white fabric paint to add all of the highlights. This was such a fun different project and was another creative way that these amazing files can be used! Thank you so very much for stopping by, and have a wonderful day! (Please remember that if you plan on converting a file to be used in an embroidery machine you must first purchase an embroidery license for each file used from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.) Sweet Birthday Wishes

Hi there. Today on our blog, I'd like to share this Sweet Birthday Wishes card that I created.  This card measures 5 x 7. I used the Silly Frog svg file and the Cool Treats svg file to create this.

The card stock, textured and patterned papers are a mix of Bazzill, Recollections and American Crafts papers.

I used my Cricut Explore to upload and cut my svg files and also created the tag and sentiment as well.
After all pieces were cut, I then chalked each one, pieced them together and added my highlights.

I added two small buttons on each side of my sentiment tag as well as Stickles to both the sentiment tag and the ice cream for that added texture and sparkle.

I loved playing around with these files and think my little silly frog friend loves his ice cream! Thanks for stopping by today.

I made these tear bears using thick handcrafted mulberry paper.
The blue strips are glitter, everything else is cut from cardstock. The banner title was colored in with a gel pen and then inked.

The whole layout was designed in Design Space and cut with my Cricut Explore. Here is a screenshot from Design Space that shows its rough draft design.

I used several Little Scraps of Heaven Designs files to make this.
The main file I used was Jonah and the Whale found here http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/item_1274/Jonah-and-the-Whale.htm.

The tear bears were created with the cuddly bear file found here:
http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/item_1219/Cuddly-Bear-Standing.htm

I also used files from the cute Beach Babies found here (Some Sand, Sea Shells, Bucket & Shovel: http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/item_1331/Beach-Babies.htm

I got the adorable splashes to compliment my whale with the super cute Spray Park file found  here: http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/item_1375/Splash-Park-Fun.htm

I put the finishing touches on with some stamped images, Jolee stickers and paper punch embellishments as well.

Happy Thursday Everyone! Today I want to share with you a Birthday Turtle Box Card that I made!

I combined two adorable files to create my card Sooie-t Birthday and Turtle-y Lovin' School which you can find here: http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/item_1291/Sooie-t-Birthday.htm and http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/item_1377/Turtle-y-Lovin-School.htm, To make the box card base I just welded basic shapes in Design Space and then added score lines. I then uploaded the two different patterns into Design Space and sized the images to my desired height for the card. Next I cut out all of the pattern pieces in plain card stock and inked and chalked all of the paper edges. After that I assembled everything and attached it to my box card base. To finish I added the highlights with a white paint pen. I just love making these box cards! They are super easy, and turn out so neat every time! Thank you so very much for stopping by! Tuesday, August 11, 2015

Hi everybody! Today I am sharing a single, 12 x 12 page scrapbook layout for the 1st Day of School. To create this fun layout, I used the "1st Day of School" svg file which you can find here:

I used my Cricut Explore to cut out each of the pieces and then chalked each one. To make the page a bit more personal and to record those 1st Day of School memories, I used my Cricut to add text to the notebook paper, which can then be filled out and completed at a later time.

Back to school really looking forward to start a new school year. For this week, I want to share a gift idea for the teacher. This is a set of notes and cards, in which I used different files: Baa-ck To SchoolHit the Books BoyHit the Books GirlMouse in Crayon Box EnvelopeSmarty Pants OwlsLittle SailorsBear with books (this week freebie).

Hice un set de tarjetitas con su respectivo sobre, cada set en un tipo de cartón diferente.

I made a set of cards with their respective envelope, each set in a different type of printed cardstock.

Luego con un borde de papel, puse juntos los sobres y las tarjetas y los sellé con un pequeño sticker.

Then with a border of paper,  I put together envelopes and cards and sealed with a small sticker.

Coloqué las diferentes imágenes en las tarjetitas.

I put different images on little cards.

Y finalmente las puse dentro de una cajita decorada con papeles de tema escolar, un mensaje y algunos detallitos adicionales.

And finally I put them in a box decorated with paper school theme, a message and some additional embellishments.
