This card was created with the standing turtle from "Turtle-Ly Love You". It's such a cutie. The lil' fisherboy was so cute, I just had to create something with him.  With Summer coming up, I'm going to try and take my boy down to the lake or ocean to go fishing. My blog project for today is a card. For the background I found an old cake stencil I had lying around. I applied some texture paste to the cardstock.  Sometimes when you just stop to look around, it always amazes me what one finds to use with your scrapbooking. Hi! Today I am sharing a border and two mat set made with the Little Scraps of Heaven Designs pattern, "Ladybugs and Daisies." I made the daisy mat for the border by welding five, 2 inch daisies from the pattern to each side of a rounded, 12 inch by 3.75 inch rectangle. (The sun, clouds and title are not part of the pattern.) The ladybugs and flowers were made to be about 4.75 inches tall. The mats were made 4.5 by 6.5 inches.
