Fall Turtle Applique Onesie

Good Afternoon Everyone! Today I want to share with you a Fall Turtle Applique Onesie that I made.

I used this week's adorable Freebie pattern Pumpkin Turtle that you can find here: http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/category_22/Weekly-Freebie.htm
To make my applique first I cut the pattern out of card stock with my Explore. Next I traced the pattern onto felt. After that I cut out all or the felt pattern pieces and used a waterproof ink to ink all of the edges to create extra dimension. I then used embroidery floss and a blanket stitch to attach each felt piece to the onesie. I started with the back layers first and then worked my way to the very front layer. Next I beaded and sequined the pumpkin leaves, and then sewed on two little bows. To finish I used white fabric paint to add all of the highlights. This was such a fun different project and was another creative way that these amazing files can be used! Thank you so very much for stopping by, and have a wonderful day! (Please remember that if you plan on converting a file to be used in an embroidery machine you must first purchase an embroidery license for each file used from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.) A Little Rain Must Fall

I don't know about you, but I love a good rain shower. I love sitting out on my porch swing and just listening to the rain fall. Here in Illinois, well my part of Illinois anyways, we have been greatly lacking in the rainfalls.  So when we do have a shower I make sure to enjoy it while it last.
