Let's Go Squatchin'

Hi! For my first post to the blog I am sharing a fun scrapbook layout called, "Let's Go Squatchin'." My husband always jokes that we are going to go Sasquatch hunting at our camp in the western end of the U.P. of Michigan, so this layout will be ready for that adventure when it happens.

I used the file, "Little Yeti Pals" for my Sasquatches, and cut them at 5 1/2 inches from shades of brown. I used the Ice Block and Ice Column Yetis for the peeking and walking Sasquatches, and turned the snowball Yeti into a rock throwing Yeti.

For my Sasquatch hunters and the trees, I used the file, "Apple Picking Time." I cut my people at 4 inches. I gave one a stick for "wood knocking" and had the other doing a yelp. I hope you enjoyed my silly little layout, and thanks for looking! Enjoy your weekend! ~LSHD DT Shirley

Shoot Some Hoops

Shoot Some Hoops - Bears
Scrappy Thursday!!! Today I am sharing a 2 page LO I made using "Shoot Some Hoops Collection". At our elementary school, they have 5th & 6th grade basketball after school during the winter. Last year was D's first time playing, and his team was the Hornets!  They had so much fun!

I can't wait to print my pics and put them on here!
Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to come back tomorrow to see more great inspirations!

Loving you is SWEETER than CHOCOLATE Layout

Happy Wednesday everyone!  This is my first post on the LSHD Blog and I hope you'll enjoy seeing my weekly projects!
Here is a layout I made that I titled "Loving you is SWEETER than CHOCOLATE" and features this week's Freebie from LSHD -- the "Box of Chocolate Mouse".

The pattern was very easy to put together and turns out so stinkin' cute(if I may say so myself!).I made my title in eCAL (SCAL for the Sizzix Eclips) using a couple different fonts on my computer, and the top heart border is from a patterned paper, cardstock, and a Fiskars punch.
If you haven't already gotten this week's Freebie file, here's a quick link to it: http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/category_22/Weekly-Freebie.htm

Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to sharing more of my projects with you!  ~DT Debbie

Bee my Valentine

Good evening everyone!  My first posting to the LSHD Blog ~ normally they won't be so late, but school planning for next year was tonight.

Here's a clean and simple card I created using the new file Bee My Valentine. Sometimes, clean and simple just work =)

I embossed my background with a honeycomb folder to coordinate with the theme.  The "digi" was created in my Silhouette Studio and printed, then cut.  I used some Prismacolor Pencils to color her in.  The sentiment is from Peachy Keen Stamps.

Hope everyone that is on the east coast and facing the winter blizzard stays safe and warm!  We will be thinking of you all!!

You can find this adorable file here:  http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/item_1260/Bee-My-Valentine.htm
