Baby Diaper Cake

Wow!!! So many baby showers!!!.. I know of 5 ladies in my circle of friends that have found out they are pregnant.  I am sooooo happy for them. Whoohoo!!! So today I want to share a DIAPER CAKE.  This is my very first attempt at one. I did find I needed many more hands than my own two, to secure the diapers LOL!!! Once that was done, I had an absolute ball decorating the cake :). The files I used to put this together can be found below. Johnson's Shutins

Hello there, it's Monday again!  Today I'm sharing a page that was so much fun to create! For this page I used two patterns  At the Beach  &  Lemonade Stand . The rocks & grass are from the At the Beach pattern & the trees are from t he Lemonade stand. For my page I got out my watercolors & just started painting.  I used watercolor paper to cut out all  my pieces so that I could get the paper all wet & it wouldn't curl up too much.  It did still curl but it's fine now that it's in a page protector. This is my beautiful granddaughter.  We took her to the park to spend some fun time with her the day before her baby sister was born.  It was a gorgeous day!  If you are ever in Southern Missouri & near this park it is worth a stop!  It's so beautiful! Thanks for stopping by our blog today!  I hope you all have a Happy Scrappy Week! ~Jeana~

Friends Furever

Friends Furever was created using this week's freebie, Pot Belly Monkey, and Pot Belly Tiger (which you can get on my website in the $1.00 deals category) I also used the tree form the Such a Stinker file. We bought Josh these two stuffed animals for Christmas just before he turned one. At two years old he has grown more attached to his "friends" and tries to take them everywhere. He won't to go bed unless they are tucked in right next to him.  I adore how he rubs his hands on the tags for comfort. They truly are his "best buds" Thanks for stopping by ~Tricia

Viernes en Español

Hola a todas, Doris nuevamente.

Little Boy

"I'm a Pawful" 2 page Layout

Scrappy Thursday! Today I have a 2 page LO to share using the " I'm a Pawful " file. This is my little guy, Joey.  He has Autism, and up until this day, he refused to wear costumes or dress up at all, ever.  He wouldn't even dress up for Halloween. Nothing.  On this day, his 2 sisters were playing dress up and parading around in their Princess dresses. Joey decided he wanted to play too. He tried ripping a dress off his sister at first, but was kindly redirected to this Dalmation costume, which he had refused to wear the previous Halloween. :) When I saw this file, I knew it was perfect!  And it is! And Joey is certainly a "Pawful" even when he's not wearing the costume! ;) Thanks for coming by today and be sure to come back tomorrow for Viernes en Espanol with Doris and Sandra. ~Colleen LSHD DT~
Good Morning !  Want to share with you a layout I did of my daughter, Brittni,  when she caught her first bass on her Mickey Mouse fishing pole.  I used the What A Catch file which you find here :   http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/item_1081/What-a-Catch.htm . As you can see the file is a boy so I then used the file Bowling Fun to make the hair and the bow to make it a girl.  You can find that file here:  http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/item_822/Bowling-Fun.htm I finished the layout with cardstock from Hobby Lobby and paper from Match'em up's fishing collection. Stay tune ...Next week we will be back with Same day different Way Wednesdays!   I hope you will join us!  Christi

Viernes en Español- Card Box

Hola, nuevamente yo - Doris.

3D Butterfly Card

Today, I've created a card using the 3D Butterfly . This is such a a pretty file and is a great addition to any paper crafting project. The bottom layer of the butterfly is cut from cardstock and embossed. The top layer I've cut from vellum and used Stickles for a glittery finish. Finally, I embellished the card with some Prima flowers and some bling.      Thanks for stopping by and don't forget, we have a sketch challenge going on. So, be sure to stop by our Facebook page for more details.  ~ DT Barbara
