Viernes en Español

Esta semana quiero compartirles mi primer proyecto navideño. Lo hice utilizando el archivo Little Snowman  , el cual es el freebie de ésta semana y va a estar disponible hasta el próximo lunes.  This week I want to share my first Christmas project. I did it using the file Little Snowman, which is the freebie this week and will be available until Monday. No les parece lindo? Cute is n´t it?  Esta es mi colilla, lo corte al tamaño exacto del archivo y además puse un pequeño holy en el sombrero. This is my tag, I cut it to the exact size of the file and also put a small embellishment in the hat. Como se puede ver, usé la bufanda para escribir las palabras De: y Para: As you can see, I used the scarf to write the words From: and To: Feliz fin de Semana!!! Happy Weekend!!

Happy Thanksgiving TurkeyTag

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Today I want to share with you a Happy Thanksgiving Turkey Tag that I made with you! To create my tag I used the Adorable pattern Lazy Turkey that you can find here:  http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/item_1207/Lazy-Turkey.htm .  First I created my tag base out of basic shapes in Design Space. I then uploaded the turkey pattern and sized the image to fit my tag perfectly. Once I was happy with my design, I then cut out all of the pattern pieces in plain and patterned card stock. Next I inked and chalked all of the paper edges to add dimension and shape. After that I embossed the turkey feathers with my Big Shot to add texture. I then assembled everything, and attached it to my tag base. To finish I added ribbon to the top of the tag, and then added the highlights with a white paint pen. Thank you so very much for stopping by, and have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving! -LSHD DT Mindy

Ginger Scrub

Today I want to share a scrub inspired from  HERE .  I did tweak it a little and added my own ingredients.  I also used this file for the tag on the jar.  Christmas Candy Ginger  As an added something on the jars I beaded some teaspoons for the ease of getting the sugar scrub out the jar. I love the idea of  home made gifts for Christmas.  For me to receive a homemade gift is truly special. Thanks for stopping by ~ Michelle
