Reindeer and Elf Christmas Tags

Hello Everyone! Today I want to share with you some Reindeer and Elf Christmas Tags that I made.

To create my tags I used the Adorable pattern Reindeer in Training that you can find here: http://www.littlescrapsofheavendesigns.com/item_1441/Reindeer-in-Training.htm.

First I uploaded the pattern into Design Space. Next I deleted the parts that I did not want to use for my tags and then ungrouped the pieces that I wanted to use. I then layered the tags exactly how I wanted my tags to look. Next I duplicated the image and then selected my duplicate image and selected weld. That gave me a shadow layer for my tag base. Next I welded a small tag hole attachment to each of my tag bases so that I could easily hang my tags as either ornaments or present name tags.

Once I was happy with my design I then cut out all of the pattern pieces in plain and glitter card stock. Next I inked and chalked all of the paper edges to create dimension and shape. I then assembled everything and attached it to my tag bases. To finish I added sequins, ribbon, and then added the highlights with a white paint pen. Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great day!! LSHD DT Mindy

First off, Tricia, Leann, and I (Kristy) would like everyone to know that we were amazed at all the entries for the DT call. It was so very hard to choose only 4 applicants to be a part of the design team. There were so many talented women that applied, which made it terribly difficult to choose. We went back and forth for days trying to make a decision. So, with that said we would now like to proudly introduce to you the new Little Scraps of Heaven Designs design team. Tricia Owner & Designer Hi my name is Tricia and I am the owner of Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.  I have been scrapbooking several years now and love creating works of art to preserve my precious memories.  I started my scrapbook career selling my paper piecings and layouts on ebay.  I then started selling patterns of my paper piecings on etsy.  Soon after my little business started to grow and I created my website, Little Scraps of Heaven Designs I love creating new patterns and thank God everyday for bless
